Date: Last Updated: May 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Nama Med website (www.nama.med), booking any appointment, or availing any of our medical, home healthcare, or teleconsultation services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Nama Med

We provide a range of healthcare services, including General Practice, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Surgery, Dermatology, Gynecology, ENT, Home Healthcare, Teleconsultation, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Lab, and Minor OT services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, booking an appointment, or using any of our services - in-person, at home, or via teleconsultation - you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing services on behalf of a minor with appropriate parental or guardian consent.
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • You consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Medical Services & Disclaimer

3.1 Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

Nama Med provides outpatient and teleconsultation services. We are not an emergency hospital. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call the national emergency number (112) or proceed immediately to the nearest hospital emergency department.

3.2 Professional Medical Advice

All consultations at Nama Med are conducted by qualified, registered medical professionals. However, information provided on our website — including FAQs, articles, and general health content — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor for your specific condition.

3.3 Teleconsultation Limitations

Teleconsultation is subject to inherent limitations — a remote consultation cannot fully replicate an in-person examination. Nama Med doctors will exercise their best clinical judgement, but certain conditions may require an in-person visit. The treating doctor's recommendation on whether a physical consultation is necessary shall be final.

4. Appointments

4.1 Booking

Appointments can be booked online at www.nama.med, by phone, or by walking into our clinic. Appointment slots are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from our team.

4.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment time. For teleconsultation appointments:

  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment will be charged 100% of the consultation fee.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full consultation fee.
  • In-clinic appointment cancellation policies may vary — please check with our reception at the time of booking.

4.3 Delays & Rescheduling by Nama Med

While we strive to maintain appointment schedules, medical circumstances may occasionally cause delays. In such events, we will make every effort to notify you in advance and offer alternative slots at no additional charge.

5. Payment Terms

We accept cash, UPI, and card payments. Consultation fees and service charges are payable at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice. The applicable fee will be communicated at the time of booking or upon arrival.
  • For insurance claims, patients must verify empanelment of their insurer with Nama Med prior to the appointment. Nama Med is not responsible for claim denials by insurance providers.
  • In the event of a billing dispute, please contact us at contact@nama.med  within 7 days of the transaction.
6. Home Healthcare Services

Home doctor visits, home sample collection, and medicine delivery are available within designated areas in Kannur district. These services are subject to:

  • Availability of staff and doctors on the requested date and time.
  • Accessibility of the patient's location.
  • Clinical suitability — our team reserves the right to decline a home visit if it is determined that the patient requires emergency or in-patient care.

Nama Med shall not be held liable for any delay in home service delivery caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, or force majeure events.

7. Patient Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal and medical information.
  • Disclose all current medications, allergies, and relevant medical history to your treating doctor.
  • Follow the medical advice and treatment plan recommended by your doctor.
  • Notify Nama Med immediately if your condition worsens or if you experience any adverse effects.
  • Behave respectfully towards all Nama Med staff, doctors, and other patients. Abusive or threatening behaviour will result in termination of services.
8. Privacy & Medical Records

Nama Med operates an AI-integrated ERP system to maintain patient records digitally. Your medical records, prescriptions, and lab reports are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised medical staff involved in your care.

  • We do not share your personal or medical information with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
