About the Role
NAMA Medical Clinic is seeking a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our clinic pharmacy team. The role involves safe and accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counseling, and maintaining pharmacy records while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid doctor prescriptions
- Counsel patients on dosage, timing, side effects, and proper storage of medicines
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines according to guidelines
- Check expiry dates and ensure removal of expired or damaged medicines
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation as required by regulations
- Ensure compliance with applicable drug dispensing standards
- Coordinate with clinic doctors and staff for prescription clarification
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy area
Requirements
- B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or D.Pharm from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council (mandatory)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (Freshers may apply)
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- High attention to detail and professional conduct
