About the Role
NAMA Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and responsible Pharmacist / Pharmacy In-Charge to manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure safe and accurate medication services for patients. The ideal candidate will oversee pharmacy activities, maintain regulatory compliance, and support high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations & Patient Care
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions
- Counsel patients on dosage, usage, side effects, and proper storage of medicines
- Coordinate with doctors for prescription clarification when required
Pharmacy Management
- Supervise overall pharmacy operations
- Maintain drug stock, inventory control, and procurement
- Ensure proper storage conditions according to drug safety standards
- Monitor expiry dates and prevent the sale of expired or restricted medicines
- Maintain required pharmacy records and registers in compliance with regulations
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory documentation
- Supervise pharmacy assistants and support staff
Requirements
- B.Pharm or M.Pharm from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council (PCI recognized)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinic or retail pharmacy
- Experience as Pharmacy In-Charge preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulatory compliance
- Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
